Project
High end Hotel with 44 bedrooms, 2 Gastronomic restaurants, Spa and swimming pool in Medieval Town.
Brief
To re-design and source all materials for bringing the medieval themed restaurant into the 21st Century, refurbished 3 family suites and 3 double-bedrooms in existing annexe and refurbish corridors.
Solution
Medieval Themed Restaurant
Highly refined, welcoming and contemporary whilst keeping the medieval theme throughout. Designed in gun metal and beige tones with a touch of orange to bring warmth to the overall scheme. Simple and contemporary furniture, elegant window dressing, metallic features (refurbished original wall panelling to ressemble medieval shields and metallic raidator grills - specifically bespoke embroidered panels and printed panels with back lit LED to bring an element of contemporary medieval design.
Bedrooms
Designed with the same look and feel throughout but the use of a unique colour scheme and different material for each room provides a sense of continuity whilst being individual. A contemporary accent has been put on the material whilst the colours on the walls remain classic to fit in with the style of old style buildings. The furniture has been selected and painted to match the colour scheme and theme of each room. The bathrooms are sightly ecclectic with a use of modern fittings and old fashioned stones.
Corridors
The long and dark corridor have been lightened up by a warm natural tone hard wearing suede material and the flooring features a stripy carpet. These 2 elements bring a feeling of warmth and cocooning to the corridor area.
